two lesbians kissing and embracing on mountain top

WELCOME

I am a millennial, former zookeeper, happily engayged, uhaul lesbian with 4 healthy sons (a dog, two cats, and a tortoise) and a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation just trying to navigate her mental health in a society of pre-set expectations attempting to spread positivity, change, and manifest self-love.

Mental health is a real battle. And the biggest problem with mental health is that there isn’t enough talk about it. I may not be an expert, but I am human. Whether it’s my own personal mental health journey, a loved one’s, or a friend’s, I am learning to grow to be a better human.

Love You Too has been a concept that I have created and morphed for several years. I’ve come to realize that what has been holding me back is my fear of judgment or not having something important to say or contribute, which just feeds right back into the stigma around mental health. But being vulnerable is also an opportunity to connect with others on a humble level. So, it is time to be vulnerable.

This platform is a place for me to be honest not only with myself but with you too. If I can be vulnerable, then perhaps I can inspire others to do the same. This is an opportunity to create deeper connections, to shed light on mental illness, LGBTQIA+, women, caretakers, and loved ones to help spread positivity and kindness and to help you learn to love yourself too.
